From Registration to Results: The ISEB Pre-Test Process

Stage 1: Register with ISEB
Parents register directly with ISEB and select British Tutors as their invigilation centre.
Once registration is complete, share your applicant ID with the senior schools to which your child is applying.

Stage 2: Book Your Test Date
Contact British Tutors to book a place on one of our scheduled test dates.
An invigilation fee of HK$2,300 is payable at the time of booking.

Stage 3: Prepare for Success
To help applicants perform at their best, we offer a range of optional preparation services, including ISEB mock tests and preparation courses.

Stage 4: Sit the Test
Applicants attend the British Tutors office on their scheduled test date to complete the assessment under supervised exam conditions.

Test results are sent directly to the schools selected during the registration process.

Yes. Registering for the ISEB Common Pre-Test does not constitute an application to a school. Parents must apply directly to each school in accordance with its admissions process. During ISEB registration, parents nominate the schools that should receive their child's test results.

Parents may nominate as many participating schools as they wish when registering with ISEB. Because the exam is a shared assessment, your child will only need to sit the tests once, and their results will be automatically shared with all the schools.

No. Results are sent directly to the schools selected during registration. Parents do not receive a score report.
